My favourite local Italian! Everytime that we went to the restaurant, staff/owner were always friendly and welcoming. I've tried pizza, pasta and some other starters and the food was always delicious! Good variety of vegetarian options. I like to stay in as it's a cozy home-like space. Recommend!
Kind chef and server, reasonable price. Everything was perfect to me. I orderd the lunch set menu which includes a margherita pizza and meatballs like the picture.
Mamma Mia ! Pizzas are so delicious ! Feel free to eat at Paulo’s kitchen, it is very good and not so expensive. Moreover, Paulo is so kind and welcomed you with good attention. If you want a real Sicilian pizza, run to Mamma Mia quickly ! Note: very very very delicious Tiramisu !!
Food was absolutely incredible! The olive oil was beyond high quality, enjoyed sitting outside in the sun. Authentic pizza, lovely service. Will be travelling to again!!!!
GREAT PIZZA and awesome host . We popped in with a 4 pizza order to go and had drink while we waited. They whipped up the order right in front of us with all fresh ingredients.Authentic pizza and environment. Definitely recommend!! Also great value with 4 pizzas, glass of wine and a beer was just over 30.
Paolo's Pizzeria Mama Mia is exactly what you want when you need a proper Italian pie, a beer, and North London Italian hospitality. The only thing that would make it a 6/5 would be a signed poster of Calafiori on the wall, but that is in his hands, not Paolo's. I'm sure it won't be long
Truly incredible pizza at this unfussy little Islington gem. Size of the pizzas & toppings are really generous. It’s also a simple menu, so you’re not overwhelmed with choice. In chatting to the owner he was immediately warm & friendly - a great example of authentic Italian hospitality. Look forward to visiting again!
Lovely cosy Italian place close to arsenal stadium and Holloway road . If you like pizza you have to try this place. I'm Italian and is not always easy to find a place in London to eat a nice pizza, but I can only recommend this place. As well the tiramisu was very good and very good portion. Really Recommend!
